Shipments and returns

Delivery information.

We deliver within 7 days after receipt of payment for stocked items.  Personalised items & other made to order trunks are delivered within 14 days.  Delivery lead times are stated on each listed item for sale.  We offer FREE shipping on ALL items ordered at when delivering within MAINLAND UK. Delivery charges may apply on orders placed by email or telephone.

Fast Track despatch options are also available for select stock items, which can not be customised. Free UK shipping within 2 working days is available as standard on these items when ordered before 2pm. Items ordered after 2pm will be despatched the next days for delivery within 2 working days. Options are available for Next Working Day, Pre Noon, Pre 10.30am & Saturday delivery on these items at an additional charge. Pre Noon & Pre 10.30 is for the next working day, working days being Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. These options are not available for parts of Scotland & Wales or Off Shore Isles & Northern Ireland, and will instead be standard 2 working days.

Please note we do not offer international shipping on any of our products.

We deliver most items using DPD carriers from Mon - Fri. If a mobile number or email address is provided the carrier will send a message detailing delivery information, including a one hour time slot for delivery where someone will need to be at the delivery address to sign & accept the parcel.

If DPD is unable to make delivery then they may attempt to redeliver on a subsequent day, deliver to a local DPD collection point, or return your order to us. If your order is returned to us then further delivery charges may apply. We are not responsible for any orders that can not be delivered due to incorrect information provided to us.

We also use Royal Mail for small postable items and on occasion our own transport for large bulk orders.

Please Note:  Mossman Trunks is closed between Christmas and New Year.  No deliveries will take place between this period.  We will advise the exact dates of trading accordingly.

Returns Policy

(1) Introduction

We understand that from time to time you may wish to return a product to us. We have created this 14 day returns policy to enable you to return products to us in appropriate circumstances.

(2) Returns

Where you have no other legal right to return a product and receive a refund or exchange, then you will nonetheless be entitled to return a product to us where:

(a) we receive the returned product within 14 days following the date of delivery of the product;

(b) the returned product is unused, in its original unopened packaging (with any seal or shrink-wrap intact), with any labels still attached, and otherwise in a condition enabling us to sell the product as new;

(c) the returned product is not customised in any way, including but not limited to; personalised name or text, reinforced lid and/or base, fitted wheels and/or feet

(d) the returned product is not built to exact requirements, such as custom sizes or colours

(3) Returns procedure

In order to take advantage of your rights under this returns policy, you must:

(a) contact Mossman Trunks before returning any item, telephone number: 01945 427 000

(b) return the product with a copy of the delivery note sent with the item or have reference to the invoice or delivery note number;

(c) return unwanted items in good order and unwanted returns are returned by the customer at their own expense or we can arrange collection at a charge. Faulty items or damaged items received by our carrier will be collected at our expense and exchanged;

(4) Exclusions

The following kinds of products may not be returned under this policy:

(a) products liable to deteriorate within the period set out in Section 1 and 2 above;

(5) Refunds

We will give you a refund for the full price of any product properly returned by you in accordance with the terms of this returns policy (excluding the original delivery charges and excluding the costs of returning the product to us).

(6) Improper returns

Where you return a product in contravention of this policy (and where you do not have any other legal right to return the product):

(a) we will not refund or exchange the product;

(b) we may retain the returned product until you pay to us such additional amount as we may charge for re-delivery of the returned product;
